The Champagne Reviewer

Fleury

The Fleury family have been making champagne since 1895 and are proud of their reputation as a family of innovators.

In 1901 Emile Fluery was the first to plant grafted Pinot Noir vines in the region after the disastrous phylloxera invasion.

Jean-Pierre Fleury began to research the impact of composting and mechanical weeding in 1970 and became the first biodynamic producer in Champagne in 1989, initially with 3 hectares, then the whole domaine in 1992.

Year Founded: 1895

Address: 43 Grande Rue, 10250, Courteron.
